Morning Glories open up with beauty in the morning. These pictured are from my parents' yard. My Dad notices beautiful flowers and trees and grows them. I may have picked up my enjoyment of photography from him.
"I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark saying of old: Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done." – Psalm 78:2-4
When we look at God's creation, we can't escape the realization of His power, His goodness, and His presence. Make it a manner of life to notice His amazing handiwork and to share it with others.
“I Sing the Mighty Power of God”
1. I sing the mighty pow’r of God, that made the mountains rise,
That spread the flowing seas abroad, and built the lofty skies.
I sing the wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;
The moon shines full at His command, and all the stars obey.
2. I sing the goodness of the Lord, who filled the earth with food,
Who formed the creatures through the Word, and then pronounced them good.
Lord, how Thy wonders are displayed, where’er I turn my eye,
If I survey the ground I tread, or gaze upon the sky.
3. There’s not a plant or flow’r below, but makes Thy glories known,
And clouds arise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy throne;
While all that borrows life from Thee is ever in Thy care;
And everywhere that we can be, Thou, God, art present there.
-The hymn lyrics were written by Isaac Watts in 1715. The hymn music was composed by G. F. Root in 1856
