In the morning, at noon, and at night,
God’s wonderful works are in view.
From chilly frost to sunset’s warmth,
God’s tender mercies daily are new.
As the body retires after a day’s toil,
The heart cares are rolled over to Him
Who welcomes worries - light or hard,
And bids His children’s rest to begin.
He knows the names of all the stars
That flicker in the vast, dark, night sky.
He knows outcomes beyond our control
Though for change, we work and try.
When sunshine disappears into the night
We sometimes long for morning to come.
In the hours of waiting, we can rest in Him-
Our living Light, the true and faithful One.
